Getting Started

## New Patient  Onboarding 

Getting started with Sigla is seamless. Once you schedule your initial appointment or join our membership, you will receive a secure email containing all required clinical intake and medical history forms electronically. These forms are completed within our secure, HIPAA-compliant patient portal prior to your visit.

Book online or reach out directly to reserve your initial appointment or activate your membership.

Step 2

### Receive Secure Intake

You'll get a HIPAA-compliant email link to complete your medical history and intake forms in our patient portal.

Step 3

### Complete Before Your Visit

Finish forms on your own time so your first appointment is spent focused on you—not paperwork.

Practice Policies

## Core Practice  Policies 

### Appointment Cancellations & Rescheduling

To ensure equal access and timely care for all of our patients, we require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or scheduling changes. Appointments missed or canceled without sufficient notice may incur a fee as outlined in your Membership Agreement.

### Controlled Substance Prescribing Policy

Sigla is committed to safe, clinical, and evidence-based prescribing practices. We do not prescribe controlled substances for chronic pain management, and we do not replace lost or stolen controlled medications. When clinically indicated, patients requiring long-term controlled substances will be referred to pain management specialists.

### Communication Guidelines

Direct, secure digital communication with your provider is a primary benefit of our practice. We ask that you submit routine, non-urgent messages during normal business hours. Urgent medical issues will be addressed as promptly as possible.

### Safe and Respectful Care Environment

We are dedicated to fostering a supportive, safe, and inclusive medical environment. We expect our staff and patients to communicate with mutual courtesy and respect at all times.

Billing

## Insurance & Payment  Information 

### Direct Primary Care

We do not bill health insurance for any primary care services. Your flat monthly fee covers your comprehensive primary care without copays or surprise bills.

### Specialty Services

Advanced wellness packages, IV therapies, functional lab testing, and weight management programs involve separate fees independent of the primary care membership.

### Accepted Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards for eligible medical services. Eligibility varies by plan, so please confirm coverage with your provider.
